H Horse Comment
1 DRAMATIC POINT Had a real tough trip in a race won by a heavy favorite. This is the huge drop to the bottom and no excuses can be accepted against these. Bout time this guy steps up and delivers the goods.
2 VICTORYDAZE WILWIN Gets some much needed post relief and it does raise his profile a little. I imagine the price will still be pretty big, so he might be worth including on the ticket. Sits in, saves ground, tries to keep up late.
3 STRATOCASTER Didn’t seem to be negotiating the half mile up at Monti, but I do remember some of his better efforts here last year. Gets reunited with Jimmy and this spot looks soft, with exception of #1. One of these two will win.
4 ALWAYS A DIAMOND Took a little bit of betting money when returned to Club Med last time and showed nothing. That’s not good. Did he need the race? Shouldn’t have. I can’t really endorse now, until we see a positive effort.
5 CRUISERWILLWIN I know he’s dropping a bit too, but I’m still not excited about his recent form, or overall record last year. With that said, if he beats me, he beats me.
6 MYIDEALSON N Like #5, he won only once all of last year. Actually turned in a fairly good try last week, putting pressure on the leader. For that reason, I’d think about using him underneath in the gimmicks. Needs better trip.
7 MAJOR MARCUS Not bad, finishing just ahead of #6 in same race last week, but this guy had the far better trip. Moves from post two, to seven, so that complicates matters. I’m still going to rate him a longshot.
8 DUKE OF DELRAY Welcome to Nick Graffam in the sulky seat tonight. Like Matt Athearn a few weeks ago, it’s nice to see these young guys drive here. He’s in a bad spot with this one, so I expect a race from behind.
9 NOBLES FINESSE Ordinarily, this is the spot for gelding’s wakeup call, but he’s been really flat so far here. It’s hard to predict a total turnaround, but that’s what he would need. We can also watch the tote board. Tells a tale with him.
10 ALL ABOUT RUSTY Rusty showed good speed in his first Big M tr, but he did get tired Yes, that was against a slightly better bunch, but I don’t see him wiring these from post 10.

H Horse Comment
1 SURFING TIDE Mixed sale bound gelding put on quite a show here last week! Was off slow, saved ground and came flying through at the pylons for the upset! Very impressive! If anything, he should be even stronger tonight.
2 TAKEHIKO Retains longshot status, after a miscue upon arrival. Would be tough to like off that.
3 ALTA SHELBY N Getting to be a tougher call here, folks. He’s lost two straight as big favorite. He drifted out even more last time, so that’s not a good sign. The price won’t be big again, so I’m beginning to prefer others. Needs to rate.
4 BET THE DRAGON He’s had more than a few spins here, but do keep in mind that he failed to win a race all of last year. Didn’t handle the half at Freehold, so it’s back to the big track. He fits, but needs a trip to deliver best.
5 IDEAL CHILL Out of the same race as #1, but this guy angled wide, allowing that foe up the rail. All in all, Chill raced okay. He finished up willingly and went faster than he’d been. That’s good! More improvement coming?
6 DECLAN SEELSTER Took a week off after another stellar rally. Came from a LONG way back! Probably needs the right kind of pace scenario and I just don’t know how much pace there is in here. Once Alta clears, no challenges?
7 ALWAYS A BB None of his starts here so far have been great, so that’s a problem. Barn has two in here, and post gods weren’t kind to either one. So, I’m taking the conservative approach and not using either one. Adding Lasix now.
8 WAVES Picked up one check from three tries here so far. These bad posts are a problem and you see how it cost him last time. Same boat here. I just don’t see how he works out a trip from this spot.
9 VIRGIN GOLD Followed up a decent first try here with a flat second. Was it step up in class? Either way, tough play.
10 SUNBURST CRUZE Definitely had to “need” that first go here and he also got tired. Not exactly helped much with the post 10 draw here, so he’s a pass for me. I’ll be watching closely for future evaluation.
3 Third Race Entries
Picks: 6-5-8-4
H Horse Comment
1 HE CAN FLY N Took ALL the money last time and almost got the job done. A trip-sitter nailed him at the wire. This field looks a little tougher than that one, however. I’m not so sure he can stick with the likes of #6,8. Your call, folks.
2 CHIP WALTHER Yes, he was okay in the comebacker here. Vinny did very nice job of saving ground, got out late and he had just enough kick to collar second spot. A good step in right direction. Will he go forward off that? Good ??
3 SI SEMALU Still working his way down the class ladder, but coming off a clunker. Not sure what to expect off that, but he would need a complete turnaround to get close to these. Gets lucky to “scratch in,” but not an easy spot.
4 BIG STRETCH MARK I was somewhat encouraged by his comebacker. He needed it. He flashed that usual speed. He lacked a kick, but I’ll give him a break for that. He should get better. Same speed coming? Usable underneath.
5 SPORTY MERCEDES Exits claimers for this seemingly weaker condition, and he barely squeezes in for it. That’s a very potent handicapping angle sometimes. This team has won several races here together. No reason not to like here.
6 JOE’S BID Also in the big Mixed Sale coming up in two weeks. Joe is LONG overdue for something more here, and I believe he’s ready now after being speed tightened last week. Tonight’s the night to hop back on board, folks.
7 ROCKIN ROGER After a clunker two back, he came back with slightly improved start. Not enough to make me want to bet, but I wouldn’t be shocked if it continued. The “scratch in” would need to get lucky from out here.
8 LUCBOBSKI Here’s the other main danger on the class drop. Keep in mind that winner of that last race was heavy favorite, and very impressive. Luc kept up nicely. Note new barn. New owners (Tetrick). It ALL says go tonight! Trainer: Just bought. Came out of tough race, and looks to be well spotted here.
9 PARKLANE EAGLE I thought he had a little sniff in that race last week and he was flat. That’s not good. Takes the final drop to the bottom and gets slammed with tough post. Would need a complete turnaround to get close tonight.
10 ROCK STAR Where’s he going from post 10? Not very far, in my opinion.
4 Fourth Race Entries
Picks: 1-3-7-4
H Horse Comment
1 DRUNKEN TERROR Took plenty of tote action last time and raced okay, but not great. It was a step in the right direction and Team A Nap probably has this guy sitting on a big mile. I wouldn’t talk you off this one from rail.
2 CHEROKEE RANGER Really struggled in that first try here, with a slow start. Would be hard to endorse off that.
3 MAGNUM MIKE Mike’s back. And don’t forget it looked to me like he was impeded a bit before that break. So, if you toss that, he’s the one to beat again. Racing very well for everybody. I don’t think the gap will hurt. Gives #1 a test. Trainer: Would have won his last start if not crowded and crashed in the last turn. Freshened up. Trained great. Ready!
4 TOUGH MUDDER We’re supposed to get rain all day Saturday, so should we go with the hunch play? He’s a grinder, so a good trip following Mike might be needed. But, it’s not out of the question. Due to wake up here soon.
5 FLEM N EM N Flashed speed and tired in his return to Club Med. The effort left me wanting, so I’m probably willing to watch one more. That stamina level should increase a bit here, so I’ll watch for that. Maybe next time?
6 STONEBRIDGE ADAM Recent form rather flat. Only good start was when he left the gate. Wasn’t Marohn’s choice here, so that makes him a longshot again. I’d need to see more speed, please.
7 BAY RUM He’s still sharp, folks! Three straight good tries for the Rum. Eric sent him out of there two weeks ago and he went a long way. Different kind of trip might see his stamina increase. Would be hard to leave off ticket completely.
8 POP ICON This was Marohn’s choice and that makes sense. Finally took a BIG step forward last week. My problem tonight is the post. He doesn’t leave all that well, so it could be at mercy of pace and trip. Needs to get luckier. Trainer: Raced well from where he was three starts ago. I think he fits in here okay.
9 CHEYENNE REIDER Here’s the question for another sharp horse right now. Is he a TRUE $12.5K claimer, or just a 10? He’s overcome the bad post before. Doesn’t get Nap back, but still deserves respect. Going to need a trip too!
10 MYSHARONA BLUECHIP As much as I liked his step forward last time, this is a killer draw. Not in good spot.
5 Fifth Race Entries
Picks: 3-5-7-9
H Horse Comment
1 MCARDLES LIGHTNING Unplayable in current form. Don’t be swayed if he opens up with betting money. Pass.
2 MIGHTY AMERICAN N Took a little time off, and came back with less-than-stellar qualifier. Also a pass tonight.
3 SISKEL Gets the tepid call as favorite, in a rather wide open race with lots of question marks. He “toured” the track in the comebacker and this barn has quietly started to heat up. They were waiting for this easier spot. Time to play?
4 TWINCREEKS JESSE Gotta give credit where it’s due! Jesse is pretty sharp right now. Gave it super speed try despite the class hike last week, and now he’s forced up again. It’s getting to be a bit too high for my taste. Your call, folks.
5 QUALITY BUD After getting locked in on the 14th, he came right back and fired out with speed. Just got caught by a monster effort. He will again get bet heavily and it’s another step back up the ladder. I don’t want very short price.
6 MR CARROTTS One good start. One flat start. So, what do we do tonight. It might just be that this is too high in class. Should we wait for the drop back down? I say yes, but he’s eligible to prove me wrong if flow is lively.
7 ABBEYDORNEY We should probably think about throwing this guy in the mix too! Owns a very good late kick. This race appears to have some “action” in it, and that would set up his rally. A live longshot, in my opinion.
8 UF ROCKIN DRAGON Dropped last time with a speed try. Got tired at the end after setting wild pace. Since he got a check, he’s forced back up the ladder here. Not sure if we’ll see speed, or a revert back to rally. Tough spot.
9 MCCLINCHIE N Will no doubt be overbet due to the driver change. Still not sure the horse is fully primed and ready for a big effort, but maybe I’m wrong. Will still have to overcome the outside post. Only ONE win all of last year, folks.
10 LIVE ON It’s almost not fair when you get slammed with post 10 two straight weeks. Have to pass again.
6 Sixth Race Entries
Picks: 1-5-4-7
H Horse Comment
1 WINNING LINC Did finish up with a bit more pace in second try here. Note that race was won on the lead by well-meant foe. Will third start be the charm? Plus, he’s got a real nice betting partner. This is a formidable entry.
1A OCEAN COLONY I think this horse leads the league with tough trips. And, he never stops trying. Long, long overdue for some sort of smoother journey and he could shock these. However, it’s still post nine. That makes it hard, folks.
2 MESSI N Parlayed a perfect trip and drive from Jimmy into a real nice win at 12-1. Now forced up the ladder, so I think he’ll offer that kind of price again. I know he’ll need the same kind of trip to repeat. Not likely for me.
3 MORE DRAGON As previously stated, the Dragon wins on drops. This is still too high in class for him. Wait for later.
4 DREAMFAIR MESA Found himself overmatched against those tougher foes. So, he now drops a tick. Can you say wakeup call time? Very possible. But, I will admit he’s had a lot of tough races. Will have to bounce back big.
5 BUSHWACKER Another horse racing his eyeballs out of late, but just can’t get lucky and win one. Same boat here. Dexter will have him in position, but horse will have to find that little bit extra to find winners circle. Short price too!
6 ROGER MACH EM In for the tag here, but coming off a clunker. I’ll probably have to pass on him off that mile.
7 RAINBOW ROMANCE N Very tough call here. Hot barn. Horse reeled off only two wins last year. He’s versatile enough to do it either way and you see who’s driving. We might get a gas pedal start and that would help chances.
8 MARINER SEELSTER Gave it a very game try last week, despite the hike up. I’ll give credit for that. But, tonight’s problem is the additional bump up, and the bad post again. I’m going to rate him a longshot, vs. these.
9 ASLAN That really wasn’t a bad first try here. Could definitely go forward off that, but he’s got a big problem with the post too! I’m not saying he can’t win, but it won’t be easy from all the way out here. Demand fair value, if you fancy.
7 Seventh Race Entries
Picks: 9-3-1-5
H Horse Comment
1 TUXEDO BAY The bad post cost him last time, but he sure finished up fast. Moves all the way inside, in extremely competitive race. Should be close enough to launch that move, and it wouldn’t shock me if he got very close.
2 DECISION DAY I didn’t give him the proper respect on the big class hike last week and he promptly went out and raced very well. Guess what? This is even tougher than that. Maybe he can step around #1, and then stalk? Maybe.
3 TACT TATE N Some steering issues continue. Another tough loss when well bet. It’ll probably happen again. I don’t know how many times I can go to the well on this guy. Good post. A versatile brush. Let’s see if he goes straight.
4 TYBER TYKE MIA for a few weeks, so this might just be a maintenance race, before going back to Yonkers. Pass.
5 IDEAL JIMMY Andy opts here over #6,7. I expected that gelding would need that first one back, and he did! Finished up smartly, though. My problem is the double jump up in class. Is Jimmy going to be ready tonight? Good question.
6 DULL ROAR Raced extremely well against a monster winner last week in the Shark. He is also forced back up the ladder a notch, and wasn’t Andy’s choice. What do we do here? I expect same speed coming. He’ll need all of it.
7 MCTHRILLER Dave had this fella in perfect position last week and for once, horse was flat. Hikes up. Too tough.
8 VEGAS ROCKS Yannick had an option here, and chose this one over #9. That did surprise me a bit. Rocks looked like a killer in his debut here, and was then buried in bad post at this level. Nice trip, but not enough kick. Same coming?
9 CASTLE FLIGHT Had Yannick chosen this guy, I probably would have liked a lot more. He’s shown ability to leave, so I hope he does. That’s only way into this one and he’ll try to gun down Tate late. It just might happen, and at a price.
10 MIGHTY MR SHARKEY N Two great qualifiers, sandwiched around whatever happened on the 14th. This is a VERY nice horse, but I’m taking a pass, hoping he needs this one from post 10. Trainer: Is a nice horse! It’s too bad he has to start off out of the 10-hole, and against these in his first start.

1 STONEDUST It’s taking the Dust a little while to find his top stride again. Still not ready, so let’s pass again.
1A NEW TALENT Definitely has talent! Marching his way right up the class ladder, and he’s now reached the top level. The speed has been sterling, but he’s running into a few beasts here. Should be very interesting sprint into turn one.
2 BALLERAT BOOMERANG Can’t really fault how good he is right now, but isn’t he buried in this spot? I can’t remember if he’s ever been a true “Preferred” horse here. At Freehold, maybe. Here, no. Will have to prove me wrong.
3 MINDTRIP He’s in the Mixed Sale coming up in two weeks and boy, has he looked good here so far! Really overpowered that bunch last week, and now takes the final hike up to top level. A lot to prove, but maybe he can.
4 SOHO WALLSTREET A Successfully dropped and popped to dominate the weaker crew. Congrats on that. But, how he’s forced way up the ladder and Dex did opt off. That didn’t surprise me. Can he repeat? I’m going to say no.
5 ROCK THE NITE Somebody in here has to be the longshot. This will be one of them. Have to wait for a class drop.
6 BELL I NO Been nothing short of sensational here of late. And, he’s sale bound too! Bound to bring a pretty big price if you want him. Got a deserved couple weeks off. Should bounce back strong, because they want him to look good.
7 STARZNHEAVEN Returned to his best classy form, with a sterling rally here last week. That was a good bunch, but probably not as good as these. Gets stuck with a tougher post, so I’m leaning towards negative. Needs a big one.
8 K RYAN BLUECHIP Andy opted here over #3. K Ryan’s done nothing wrong over last several starts. Also got a couple weeks off, and gets stuck with terrible post. He doesn’t usually leave. How’s he going to overcome that?
9 CONSTNTLYSIDEWYS A And lastly, in this impossible race to handicap, we get Sideways. He’s also been sensational, but he wasn’t quite as strong when forced up to top level. Still in at the top, and now slammed with post 10. Tough call.
9 Ninth Race Entries
Picks: 4-1-6-7
H Horse Comment
1 JOHNNY Q Has definitely returned to his top form, and that last race is even better than it looks on paper. He had plenty of pace finishing. Draws another inside post, so seems destined for same trip. If he shakes loose earlier, maybe.
2 THAT’S MY OPINION Successfully dropped and popped last time, given a perfect trip and drive from A Nap. He chose to stick with this fella on the bump back up, over #7. Not a surprise, but I do still wonder if horse is this good?
3 DUBIOUS CLAIM Sailed home with a Brett Miller salute to end the race meet! Nice win. But, against vastly lesser company. This is a BIG step back up, and I have my doubts about him in here too! Has to prove it all over again.
4 GRIFFON HANOVER The Griff has clearly reached his top form level again. Didn’t get lucky in either of last two, but was super both times! Gets a new driver tonight and Eric should be perfect for this guy. The one to beat again.
5 WESTERN DELIGHT N Hasn’t raced since closing day at Philly. Burned a little money over last few too! So, I wonder about his current readiness and I wonder if he’ll be a true mile track horse? We’ll get some answers tonight. Trainer: Off a few weeks, but trained good. Hopefully, he enjoys a big track.
6 BARIMAH A Was very quietly, very good when hiked up to this level last week. It’s all about pace and trip for him, but I see plenty of potential action in here. That would set up a closer, and this guy will be coming. At a big price too!
7 BILBO HANOVER I’ve got a good note on this fella from last week too, but if A Nap opted off, maybe we should too? That’s a good question. He might be the odd man out, stuck in this outer post again. Will need to get a little luckier.
8 AWESOMENESS Just keeps finding ways to lose, and I’m not being mean. The facts are the facts! Now, he loses that inside post help. Not sure what Andy’s plan will be from out here, but regardless, I’ll let him beat me, if he can.
9 ROUGH ODDS Had a very useful first start back. I’m taking a stand that he’s going to need at least one more. Especially in the outer post again. He’ll get his night soon, but I’m hoping its not tonight.
10 SOLO STORY They raised the condition on this race to allow Story in. he comes off a monster rally win, but isn’t exactly “rewarded” with this post. I just don’t see how he sweeps them all, but maybe he can. That’ll be without me.
10 Tenth Race Entries
Picks: 5-8-2-1
H Horse Comment
1 GITN DRUNKONAPLANE Mitch opted here over #10, which was a big surprise! Maybe due to post difference? This gelding’s Big M debut wasn’t bad. He could easily step forward off that and he showed speed at the Spa. Sits a trip?
2 ITSNOPROBLEMMAN Paid instant dividends with a big, blowout win over the $10K claimers. They bump him up to $15K now, and that’s a big step. But, if horse paces in 51 again, it might not matter. He might just be that much better.
3 URBANITE HANOVER Beat vastly lesser in his last two down at the Hold, so congrats on that. Seems buried here.
4 P L IDAHO Down from Mohawk with some flat form on view. So far, barn’s starters looking like this have needed a race or two. I’m going to go with that theory, until proven otherwise. Your call, folks.
5 SPORTS VISION Also coming off a huge blowout win, so what do we do? Something’s gotta give. Seeks fourth straight in career form and after watching the steamroll last week, I’m convinced. I’ll stay in his corner for now.
6 SUNSET DREAMER Talk about a perfect trip and drive! Vinny did it last week, and horse paid nice dividends on the claim. Not sure what the price will be, after last week’s 8-1. This field has some solid foes in it. Might need similar trip.
7 ATOMIC SEELSTER Was a little buried in those first few here. Because he’s a 4YO, he goes in for the bigger tag here, so that may sway people away from claiming him. Still a little something to prove here, and he simply needs more.
8 OBSCENE BLUE CHIP Yes, he was very “unlucky” to lose last week. Got stuffed in that box just a little too long. Gets a new driver tonight, but also a very tough post against some solid speedsters. Not sure I’d want too short a price.
9 PICKLED PREACHER Chronic slow starter offered up a nice kick from way back in debut here. But, isn’t this post a real killer? He likely will get away last, and you all know how I feel about that. Would have to sweep the whole field. Trainer: Having some lameness issues. Broke, then bounced back with big mile. Has had a great week. IF 100%, horse to beat.
10 BEACHCHIP HANOVER Horse raced his eyeballs out last two, yet Mitch opted off tonight. Does that mean it’s time to give gelding a race from “off the pace?” Good question. I’m going with yet. Let’s wait for softer spot.
11 Eleventh Race Entries

H Horse Comment
1 BRUCE’S MAGIC Dexter didn’t take Bruce tonight, but I still like him, and think he’s got a big shot in here. This is finally the kind of field at this level where he can do some damage. That, and the pole won’t hurt either. Expect speed.
2 WHITTAKER N Off the layoff here, and I don’t think he’s ready off only one qualifier. Pass for now.
3 BIG TOP HANOVER Another with a big chance in here, on the significant drop in class. Also gets some much needed post relief, and this barn’s been solid with horses in the right spot. This is it. Time to use, folks!
4 RUFO Did fairly well to keep up from the rail in that Preferred. Even hit the board at long odds. How does that translate to this condition here? That IS a very good question. He has won here before. Sneaky longshot? Maybe.
5 TERROR OF THE NITE Never really got rolling in that last one, won up front. So, let’s put a line through that race. This is better post and softer spot. He could easily return to form, and he was VERY good when he won. Interesting.
6 SOFER Worked his way too high in class at the end of the Saratoga meet. Been off since, so I suspect he’ll need this.
7 WAGON MASTER Also “squeezes” in for the condition. That’s a good angle sometimes. Only couple wins last year, but a spot like this is where he belongs. If you think we get a hot pace, you can use this closer too! A real maybe.
8 ELECTRIC WESTERN MIA for three weeks, after that start as a losing favorite. He’s up in class now and perhaps a bit overmatched, not to mention the missed time. I have to prefer others for tonight.
9 REDONKULOUS Absolutely loved his effort in the win. Then, not so much when hiked up to this level. Dexter had a choice and stuck with this guy over #1. A bit of a surprise, but definitely a tougher test now from the outer post.
10 NASCAR SEELSTER Seems primed and ready now for the huge wakeup call. Sort of like what we saw from Incredible Shark for this barn last week. Do I hate post 10? Yes. I don’t care. Still picking this guy with Jimmy on board now.

1 WEBMASTER HANOVER Nothing in his recent form suggest a huge wakeup call, so he’s a pass, even on rail.
2 LIFE HAPPENED Been a disappointment here so far, but I do see signs of life. His race two weeks ago was a little better than his runner-up finish. So, he might finally be headed in right direction. We’ll find out tonight.
3 FOX VALLEY HIJINX Unraced since closing day at Philly. Was up and down those non-winners classes there. Gets into this race via the last alternate condition. Seems like a one move type. Will Kyle have him ready? Good question.
4 BET ON SUCCESS That really wasn’t a bad debut here, but he seems a little buried with this tougher grouping. Will have to prove it to me first, and this is NO easy spot. Tows along. Hopes for a minor share.
5 OLDE BROADSIDE Failed to deliver much kick in his first spin here. We could call that an acclimating mile, but I still need to see more from him before I could endorse. This is a very good field for this level.
6 NIHILATED TRUTH My note on him from last week is mixed. Yes, he definitely raced better. Dave had him in good spot, but he was just a hair flat late. Still, I recognize the improvement. We’ll see if that trend continues for Georgie.
7 JK MUSICMAN My note on this guy from last week was VERY good. From an impossible spot. So, what do we do from another tough post? I suspect he’ll be coming from behind, but you never know. Lots of other closers in here.
8 LETJIMMYTAKEOVER Coming out of same Philly class as #3. They both look okay, but not overwhelming. Moves from good inside post to bad one. Doesn’t appear to pack much blast out speed, so maybe we take a pass for now?
9 WISE IMAGE We know he’s NOT taking back! What a perfect trip and drive from Mike on this guy to pull the slight upset. That was a monster field that he beat! Has the slight edge on #10, post-wise. Will need to blast out tonight.
10 ODDS ON LAUDERDALE Not sure why, but Brett was running into more roadblocks than me last week! But, of course, now the horse has to draw post 10. Of course! Will he get overbet? Probably. Not sure what to do, folks.

1 PRETTY BOY HILL Flashed a little bit of speed before running out of gas upon arrival. Gets to drop in class off that, and gets another cozy inside post. BUT, Andy Miller opted to #6. Is that telling us something? I have to think so.
2 ANDWIN HANOVER Merely “kept up” with a similar group in his return try here. I rate him a longshot again.
3 SEEL THE DEAL N One of the MANY possibilities in this wide open race. He’s dropping. He’s also coming off a break. AT this level, he produced two pretty good efforts. Can he win? Probably. Is he a lock? No. Your call from good post.
4 KINGSLEY B Suffered a good case of the post position blues to close out Saratoga. He HAS to need this, right?
5 BETTERLATETHNNEVER Also on the bad post blues list. Finally gets a break here. Basically “toured” the oval in the comebacker and wasn’t that bad. Drops. Barn is picking up steam. The post is ideal. I guess I can make good case here.
6 LONG BEACH Andy chose this guy over #1,8, and to me, that’s a shocker! Yes, I know these two have T Rex and all, but this horse isn’t one of my favorites. Tough trip in comebacker here, so that’s another excuse. Let’s see if he’s right.
7 SPORTSMANSHIP Been a little dull for quite some time, so he’s a continued pass for me, even on the drop to this level. Marohn listed and opted to #9. I would too!
8 JK PARLAY Usually takes solid tote action when he shows up here. But, I must note that Andy opted not to drive him tonight. Does that mean he’s not ready, after missing a few weeks? Maybe! The post won’t help, but he packs speed.
9 BETTOR’S WESTERN This sure looks like the right spot on the class drop, off that sneaky good effort against a very impressive foe. Yes, it will be up to Jimmy to somehow work out a trip, but that’s his job! Mine is to pick winners. Trainer: Finished up well in his last start.
10 WHITE BLISS The gaps between races for the Bliss are always a concern. Even more problematic is the class hike. If he couldn’t beat weaker, how’s he going to beat these from post 10? He’s not.
