4-Crimson And Chrome – Gathering steam on the comeback trail for a potent combo, shuffled, then popped the plugs & kicked home in :25.4, :53.4 back half & draws well again

3-US Captain – 2019 Pace finalist off a respectable 3YO campaign gets some class & post relief off two good tighteners in the Graduate Series, his latest with a :52.4 back half

1-The Devil’s Own – NZ bred has been relentless since arriving, after his first two wins he was too far out of it from post nine two starts back, then just missed with a slingshot off cover last week & now moves inside a competitive opener

6-Manchego – World champion & two-time Dan Patch Award & Breeders Crown winner was stung early, under intense late pressure & gallant in her Cutler defeat, has come back in top form for Team Takter & no Atlanta tonight

7-Plunge Blue Chip – Track record holder came up with a more lively effort in the slop against Atlanta last week, classy millionaire draws a demanding post, but makes her key third start off the bench

2-Grand Swan – Kicked off her season with a wire-to-wire Graduate division @ Tioga, hasn’t gotten involved from outside posts here, finally moves inside to play stalking opportunist

1-Sorella – Has blossomed going three-for-three since switching to Team Takter, her latest a stunning 1:50.2 in the Reynolds, connections believe there isn’t a colt close to her now & decision to try the Hambo is imminent

10-Ramona Hill – Dan Patch Award winner romped to a Breeders Crown upset from post ten @ Mohawk, trotted a :53.3 back half to hit the board in her 3YO debut from post nine & looms large despite another outside assignment

8-Hypnotic AM – Off an impressive 1:51.1 qualifier here she went two-for-two in NY, including the Empire Breeders Classic @ Vernon Downs, tackling a tough draw back here, but her camp still have Hambo aspirations

4-Amigo Volo – #1 rated 3YO on the Road to the Hambo rebounded off a pace compromised sixth in his sophomore debut with an easy score @ Pocono, Breeders Crown champ draws well with a chance to step up in a loaded division

6-Back Of The Neck – #3 on the Hambo Top Ten list this week fresh off a sterling rally in :26.4 to take a Reynolds division & leads a large Team Svanstedt battalion

7-Third Shift – #6 in the Hambo Top Ten & romped in both starts @ Vernon Downs, including an impressive Empire Breeders Classic division in a career best 1:52.4, NYSS champion will get a chance to expand his horizons

1-Beads – Jumped into the Hambo Top Ten at #8 this week off a gutsy narrow loss in a 1:51.2 Reynolds division, Hall of Famer Jimmy Takter took the lines in a previous standout qualifier & appears to be a new horse

4-Ready For Moni – Back in the Hambo Top Ten this week at #9, KYSS champion now with Team Takter put it all together in an eye-catching qualifier last Saturday & draws well

7-EL Ideal – Valley Victory & Kindergarten champion & Bluegrass winner, surprisingly not Hambo eligible, progressed nicely in his qualifiers, roughed up from post eight in his 3YO debut

8-Reflect With Me – Breeders Crown upsetter from post eight stormed home to win her season opener with a wicked :25.1, barely outsprinted by JK First Lady in the subsequent qualifier, this is a supremely talented filly primed for another big season

1-JK First Lady – Three Diamonds upsetter was pace compromised & just missed in :25.3 in her 3YO debut, rebounded with an impressive 1:49.4 qualifier & can control things from the rail for Team Takter

7-American History – Breeders Crown champion bounced back from his Roll With Joe debacle with an easy qualifier, then closed into a :52.3 back half over an off track last week, with a fast pace expected this could be a prime spot for him to pounce

5-Backstreet Shadow – Off his wire-to-wire Roll With Joe upset he steamrolled first over & came up just a half length shy in :26.4, 1:47.3 performer here last season revved back up for Team Burke & draws better

6-Dancin Lou – Romped in his first two starts this season, including a Graduate division in a sizzling 1:48.3 @ Tioga, held third under intense pressure that 1:47 final last week, razor sharp, but the tasks don’t get any easier

13-Gimpanzee – Bigger, stronger & imposing this year, near double millionaire just completed a three-ply sweep of the Graduate, clearly best if he can navigate out of second tier city & has added eighth to work with

1-Forbidden Trade – 2019 Hambo upsetter slightly overlooked in a smashing return to the Big M last week, moves inside a bulky field with a lot to build on

5-When Dovescry – Dan Patch Award & Hambo Oaks dominator now with Brett Pelling, superb in four qualifiers awaiting her seasonal debut from a decent post & could surprise the boys, although she’s off Lasix for this

4-Allywag Hanover – The new Pelling project this season displayed his monstrous kick in his first two wins here this season, then brushed n crushed them on a sloppy track in PASS, post four bodes well for Tim Tetrick’s quest for six Pace trophies

5-Tall Dark Stranger – Nancy Takter has another Dan Patch Award winning 2YO as Pace favorite, Captain Crunch was right here fourth last year, this guy’s 1:47.4 explosion was followed by a determined elimination score & deserves the big target on his back

3-Captain Barbossa – Take note of the huge second to Allywag from post ten in :25.3 before getting shuffled fourth in last week’s elimination, draws well for the Team Alagna trio & The White Knight looks for back-to-back Pace upsets

2-Donttellmeagain – Gave him a chance last week off a hard-charging third in the Preferred two starts back, was used to hard on the lead over an off track, reunited with The Bionic Man & draws another inside post

6-Sintra – Has been revving up for Team Burke, two narrow losses in the Preferred, then blocked briefly & shook loose late last week, sets up another stalking trip in a wide open field

11-Geez Joe – This Joe was flying home to win those back-to-back Preferreds recently, caught in never-never land last week, in line for a quicker start leaving behind a speedy Western Joe

1-Closing Statement – Rebounded off a miscue over an off track @ Pocono by closing into a :53.2 back here last time, note the sharp rally & upset at a tougher level fresh off the bench

6-Angers Bayama – 4YO now with team Alagna showed much improvement in his second start back with sharp pace at both ends on Lasix & exits the Graduate Series

2-Peace Out Posse – Ships south from Canada’s leading barn into Team Bongiorno barn, returned to form in his latest two @ Mohawk & draws inside at a comparable level
