7-Just N Berlander – Bogged down after a slow start, forced wide from a tough spot to edge Jackamino for second in a sharp :27.2, retains Joe Lee, who knows how to time it right

4-Jackamino – Rallied to hit the board off a rate pace, yet was outgamed by Just N Berlander for the place spot, steady sort draws post four again with the very capable Mark Silva

8-Stenhouse Hanover – Just one for 36 + post eight, twice beaten favorite fresh off a hard-fought narrow loss from post ten, remains a serious threat with some trip luck

4-Fashionwoodchopper – Off a game uncovered mile chasing the streaking Say You Do, gets more class relief for Team Burke & draws well on the improve

6-Explosive Ridge – Was all over this one last week when he finished a decent third fresh off the bench for his new barn, rates the call to step up a notch in a field ripe for the taking
