RACE 1

1-Abbeylara – Rallied to beat these soundly with a huge turnaround two starts back, finally gets some post relief to push off within hailing distance

 

7-Ideal Candidate – Has been a serious candidate against $10,000 stock this season makes his third start off a lame scratch after an improved third from the rail

 

5-C’Mon Buzz Off – Put together a pretty solid back half of :55.1 to gain a board spot last week, has a chance to build on that decent acclimating mile in a wide-open curtain raiser

 

RACE 2

5-Hayden Hanover – Classy Team Orange Crush 4YO kicked off his campaign going four-for-four, gallant try on the engine from post ten & barely outgamed by Albergo, chance to turn the tables off that excellent acclimating mile 

 

6-Albergo Hanover – Tipped out first over & gamely outduelled Hayden to start his season four-for-four, took a new mark of 1:49 in the process & Team Bongiorno is on fire

 

3-Closing Statement – Chased Hayden Hanover @ Harrah’s Philadelphia & finished a close second to that rival with a perfect trip two starts back, draws well fresh off the mile of his life

 

RACE 3

8-Taramakaureactor N – Interesting lightly-raced NZ invader finally stayed flat in his latest qualifier here chasing Open star Highalator, worth a long look despite post eight

 

2-Big Rocky – Hammered down to 90 cents on the dollar, set a rated pace & faded to fifth in much-needed Big M debut, draws inside again in a soft field to build on that tightening mile

 

7-Justa Camilion – One for 16 this season, but caught fire in his last three & rallied off a slow pace to just miss in a strong Big M debut

 

RACE 4

4-Pauly Wally – Was an international good thing when he grinded gamely to a convincing Big M debut for Andrew Harris, huge threat to make it three in a row off that lifetime best

 

2-Democracy N – Got on a roll before a very slow start from post ten last week, drops back down in class & draws much better here

 

3-Nameisonthehalter – Rallied from way back to just miss the upset in :26.2 last week, lands an improved post, while work on a one for 18 season so far

 

RACE 5

2-Village Jackson – Consistent gelding on the board in his last four here, fresh claim by Irish Joe draws post two again & inline for a smooth stalking trip

 

5-Atomic Rei – Managed to turn things around in a big way when he was able to catapult off a fast pace & the 11YO came to within a fifth of his lifetime mark last week, one to beat

 

4-Windsong Gorgeous – Classy 12YO with a winning history here, just missed in his latest @ Plainridge & draws well to get within striking range

 

RACE 6

5-Sports Legend – Three straight strong efforts here for Team Bongiorno, first over against a streaking stablemate two starts back, then runner up again to the classy Dealt A Winner 

 

6-Tivo Hanover – Took a new mark of 1:49.4 against N/W 6 company two starts back, that kind of stalking effort & sharp form makes him a serious threat in this match up

 

7-Anthem N – Kept his form spree alive with a game grind for the show spot in :25.4 last week, NZ bred could offer more off that nice acclimating mile with some better trip luck

 

RACE 7

7-New Talent – Has really taken a class tumble from a contender in the Preferred this season, beaten favorite drops again along with several others in here

 

3-Burning Midnight – 4YO has taken a few starts to come around for Team Bongiorno, solid runner up as the beaten favorite last out, draws inside again as one of several drop downs

 

8-Larry Karr – Consistently strong final quarters, tough post here, drops dangerously for Team Burke, the track’s leading barn went 4 for 55 in May @ Big M & that has to turn around soon

 

RACE 8

1-Duckies Dynasty – Paced home in :26.4 from an impossible spot two weeks ago, a solid second before that, 1:51.2 winner here this season moves inside with not much to beat

 

6-Bravo Tex N – Twice beaten favorite forced to grind first over @ Tioga Downs, returns to a soft spot here & has a big chance to end stop his 0 for 14 drought this season

 

10-Its Just Too Much – Post ten & class elevation be just too much to overcome, yet Lasix kicked in with renewed form in his last two & just missed with a gutsy effort last week

 

RACE 9

3-Griffon Hanover – Was caught behind a tiring rival & shook loose too late in :26.2 in last week’s nose loss, now re-acclimated, rates the class hike & draw inside again

 

5-K Ryan Bluechip – Been a long season for this former Preferred winner, hinting with the right positive finishes, but landing on the fringes, class & trip & right speed target can end his drought

 

6-Seeing Eye Single – On the board in the 4YO Preferred recently, this may just enough class relief to spark something for Team Burke on an 0 for 29 skid coming into this weekend

 

RACE 10

8-Wheels On Fire – Grinded gamely to hold second to the streaking Another Daily Copy, gets further class relief & speedy 4YO can overcome a tougher post for Team Burke

 

5-Quality Bud – Carl Tirella has Bud just about right judging by his narrow loss from post seven with :26.4 at both ends last week, stalks a wide-open field from midpack this time

 

7-Whittaker N – Beat better for a new mark of 1:50 back on April 20, cooked first over as the beaten favorite last week, more demanding draw, but class relief makes him a major player

 

RACE 11

1-My Delight – Dropped to this level, added Lasix & just missed with a lively effort last week, moves farther inside for his fourth start off the bench, lots of upside in his corner

 

3-Change Stride N – Has hit the board in his last two here, drops back down to the level of his narrow loss two starts back & draws better

 

6-Spirit Of Truth – Horse-for-the-course has had some extra pop in his last two finishes, gets some class relief & looms as a potential price play

 

RACE 12

4-Hudson Phil – Right there in the photo with two red-hot Hanovers Albergo & Hayden in last week’s 4YO Preferred, clearly on his game right now, can stalk & set the pace

 

7-Western Joe – Last year’s Sam McKee Memorial winner & 1:47.3 performer just missed by a nose as the heavy favorite in his second start off the bench, big chance to punch through

 

2-Always At My Place – Classy millionaire was second to the raging None Bettor A in his last start here on May 18, draws inside as a dangerous stalker for Team Burke

 

RACE 13

5-Spondulicks N – Flashed speed from post ten against better bottom level condition foes last week, now switches to a softer Trackmaster Rating & owns some back class

 

6-Rockaholic – Put together strong final quarters with impossible trips in his last two, just 2 for his last 51, yet this is a spot where he can sweep past them all

 

1-John Dally – Worked a little to get the lead & folded as the beaten favorite last week, just missed in his previous effort with a strong finish, can bounce back with a patient trip from the rail
