7-Chapter Too – That was a very impressive sweep to score the 6-1 upset fresh off the bench after qualifying well, one of four promising Chapter Seven 4YOS in this tight match up

6-Misslarose – This Burke-tuned mare has been virtually impossible to go against winning four of her last five, put them to sleep with a :58 half last week & looks like the main speed again

2-Iron Dome – Severely pace compromised chasing the well-rated Misslarose from post seven, Team Harmon trainee has shown flashed of speed & makes his third start off a sick scratch

5-Western Joe – Star of the Preferred class this Winter didn’t have quite enough pop two weeks ago when he got off to a slow start, capable of a more aggressive effort when on his game

6-Bettor’s Edge – The sudden change to off-the-pace tactics worked to a charm when he was able to work out a live second over trip last week, class & consistency always in his arsenal

1-Rodeo Romeo – Not sure if he’s up to this level, but did step up & battle gamely for the lead last week, took a mark of 1:50 here last season & makes his third start off the bench from the rail

6-Fox Valley Herbie – Dropped down to this level & shook loose with some late pace to hit the board with a nice drive by Mitchell Cushing, trending in the right direction & lands in a soft spot

8-Lodi Machette Man – Has raced well in all three starts here, solid runner up to heavy favorite Rocknroll Wildcats last week, another tough draw, but tactical speed puts him in play

5-Hope For Badlands – 7YO hasn’t won in a long time, yet has been hinting with gutsy efforts this season, roughed up first over & still hit the board in his last two

1-Workandplayhard – Recent Robert Lounsbury claim paid immediate dividends winning two in a row before fading on the lead last week, drops a notch, moves inside & can revert back to his preferred stalking style

3-Jojo Jove – That astounding 1:51.3 career best from post eight in the slop on 2-10 sparked a form spree, beaten favorite overcame a first over trip for second to runaway Drunken Terror last week & lands the three hole again

5-Master Of Puppets – His lone win this season came for this price back on 1-13, ten-time winner in 2017 makes his second start off a sick scratch from an ideal midpack post

1-Bering Sea Hanover – Burke trainee was completely blocked to the wire in his 5YO debut here last week, drops a notch off the needed start & lands in the rail in a tight match up

2-Barimah A – Flashed some sneaky late pace in his return to the Big M & first start for Scottie D, draws inside again for his second try off a sick scratch layoff

3-Kings Barns – Rallied from last to get a small share against tougher claimers here two starts back, gets some class relief, while back on the mile track with a better post

5-Gold Star Roger – Has struggled against $7,500 stock & sports a long winless drought, but the fresh claim angle could payoff with Robert Lounsbury doing good work here this season

2-Rock Power – Finished a distant third to runaway Ever Again in a 1:51.2 mile last week, nice adjustment to the mile track & lands in a prime spot to build on that positive effort

3-Twincreeks Jessie – Wheels right back fresh off a solid second @ Yonkers on Tuesday, horse-for-the-course draws well to stalk n pop in a wide-open field

6-Sunfire Blue Chip – Ultra classy 8YO Takter trainee was energetic in both qualifiers, winning the latest in a sharp 1:51.3 & looks ready to roll at this reduced level

4-Jacksrluckytoo – We all know he’s capable of one wicked late move, pace compromised last week, draws better & may get the speed target he needs

2-Artsmah – Caught fire in his last two on the mile track here, just missed with a sharp surge, then steamrolled first over to score a mild upset last week, steps back up in class & moves inside

8-Endeavor – Preferred class winner this Winter clearly tailed off, but owns an explosive move, drops to regroup for Pat Lachance & may get the right set up in a very competitive field

1-Starznheaven – Upset the Preferred with a perfect second over trip back on 2-3, paced a :54.2 back half last week, faces a tough draw, but heads a solid Burke entry

7-Ponyta Boy – Took a mark of 1:50.4 here back on 2-3, then nocked heads with Preferred foes, figures to be part of the fierce speed equation in this handicapper’s nightmare

2-Sporty Redhot – Makes his second start off the bench, drops all the way down, moves inside & shows a competitive line against Ponyta Boy & company back on 12-9

1-Maajaackkobe – Forced wide from an impossible spot last week, an aggressive third before that, gelding has come around, drops again to the bottom rung & draws the pole, but just two for his last 40

5-Mr Censi – Twice beaten favorite @ Woodbine where he was used hard with sharp speed from post ten last out, ships south into a new barn & lands in a real soft spot

2-Dorel – Ships in off his first two starts as a 4YO in NY against tougher N/W 6 company, solid numbers last year & draws inside to stalk a camera-shy bunch

3-Rather Swell – Angled into heavy stretch traffic & closing into a crowded photo last week, right here on the board in his first two starts here & lands inside again

5-Maroma Beach – Qualified well behind stellar stablemate All Bets Off, looks poised for his 4YO debut with Lasix added & returns in an easier class

5-Danishdujour – Caught in a dull flow, tenth & last & widest with an eighth to go & towered up just half a length shy last week, recent claim figures to be within closer striking range

7-Outcry – Gathering steam on the comeback trail, overcame a slow start, dove to the inside & just missed to Fox Valley Cadet last week, on the verge for Eric Abbatiello

1-Fox Valley Cadet – Capitalized on a great drive by Jim Marohn, Jr. & needed every inch of a two-hole trip, Team Harmon trainee moves inside for the repeat attempt

5-Heavenly Sound – Finished well in both qualifiers & just missed from post ten in the comebacker with a brisk :26.4, rates highly off that sharp 3YO debut

6-Rockin Machine – Left alertly & found a way through to chase a raging pair with another strong showing last week, faced a couple of standouts in Pepper Guy & Rock On Line before that

3-Long Beach – Lightly-raced 4YO broke through in only his eighth career start after chasing the standout Rock On Line, draws the same inside post off those positive efforts
