RACE 1

7-Sweet Justice – Put forth one of his best efforts in a long time when he rallied for second after missing three weeks off a sick scratch, classy 8YO has a chance to follow up

RACE 2

10-Rock On Line – Late-blooming 4YO unleashed an impressive 1:51.3 career best in his Big M debut, draws farther outside, but gate speed & sharpness makes him a threat to repeat for a barn that’s started to heat up

1-Rockin Machine – Just two for 32, yet has been right there a close third in both starts in NJ for his new barn, chased a couple of sharp ones in Pepper Guy & Rolling Sea last week

6-Joe’s Bid – Recent Richard Johnson acquisition freshened with a couple of months off & qualified with good energy here, lightly-raced 4YO with some upside

RACE 3

3-Long Beach – Well-bred 4YO with only seven starts, finished well to grab second behind the runaway Rock On Line, third try off his latest sick scratch & draws well in a light match up

6-Yo Apollo Creed – Displayed ample talent when he romped in 1:51 here last September, beaten favorite likely slipped in the snow two weeks ago, big chance to rebound here

1-Life Happened – Art Major colt has hit the board in both starts here & figures to keep his positive improving trend going from the rail again

RACE 4

3-JoJo Jove – Guided to a well-driven upset in his second start off the claim, still can’t believe this 7YO took a sparkling new mark of 1:51.3 in the slop, bumped up a notch, yet draws better

8-Ideal Shadow – Drops back down a tick off a sharp third from a similar post, second start off a lame scratch & beat these as the favorite on 1-27

3-May I Cruise West – Worked hard to get involved from post nine & couldn’t sprint with the top ones last week after two sharp on-the-board finishes, drops into much softer spot here

7-Twincreeks Jessie – 8YO gelding’s last win came with a wire-to-wire against this kind back on 1-19, no chance closing in :26.4 last week, a drop n pop candidate

7-Lawrencetown Beach – Game winner at this level back on 12-2 freshened up by Team Burke, just missed in the qualifier to Dr J Hanover, strong in the win column, ready for his 4YO debut

9-Mr Euroman N – Parlayed a pocket trip into a sharp 1:50 mark in his second US start, then struggled on 2-3, regrouped with a strong qualifier just behind Lawrencetown Beach, can leave to overcome post nine

RACE 9

10-Cowboy Terrier – Scorched first over in a wicked pace & still held third last week, steamrolled to an easy 1:51 score before that, recent acquisition for Team Burke on the improve

3-Raksmach N – Rating these fresh downunder imports is always tough, high winning percentage worth noting, qualified well with some high-level stock & draws inside a wide-open field

5-Meetyouatmidnight – Gelding comes off a solid 2017 season, garners obvious consideration fresh off his narrow loss with a strong surge last week & looms as a stalking threat

RACE 10

8-Rocknroll Wildcats – Finished an okay fourth after a slow start last week, Burke trainee has now acclimated, quality individual draws a tougher post, but drops another notch

5-All Week – Shook loose with plenty of late pace to threaten the favorite K-Lees Shakenbake last week & gets another shot at this reduced level from an ideal midpack post

10-R M Blackhawk – Parked first over when he jumped up to the $20,000 level, stormed home to just miss to Glass Prince before that, sharp item needs the right set up to overcome post ten
